Lol. I read a brilliant piece by Lauren Hough on here yesterday in which she said she had stopped using the words triggered and literally because they had lost all real meaning, I feel like balance is on its way there too :)

I LOVE this and Minnie sounds positively divine. I think I’m going to examine how attuned or otherwise I am with Lydia - it hadn’t occurred to me before but I might need to tune out a bit more…

Minnie is unreal 🥰🥰 yeah I found it a really helpful concept to have at back of my mind. Think I will eternally be a WIP on the unattuning front 😊

I'm also a single mum of an only, and as you can imagine I read this like 👀 . It's a *very* intense relationship and one I don't often see reflected.

It can be so hard to un-attune. Not just for me, but for my 9yo! He used to be more independent, carefree. Then I had fairly big medical stuff in 2020, and we all also had a pandemic in 2020 where he & I were in each other's pockets for the guts of two years. We're both still working our way back to a more relaxed way of being where he doesn't need to be in the same room as me at all times. And where I worry a bit less also. (He had big medical stuff himself in babyhood, so once he was ok I had to learn to peel myself off the ceiling and just enjoy 'regular' motherhood.) 😬❤️😅 It's hard!!!
